4th of July on the Roof Deck
Posted on Jun 16th, 2011
The plan for the roof deck on the 4th of July has been discussed at the last two board meetings. The following is the plan for the Holiday:
- Two extra security guards will arrive at 5 p.m. on July 4th and they will clear the top floor of the building. This includes any residents and guests on the roof deck, pool and the fitness center. Note: the Fitness Center will remain closed until after the 4th of July festivities.
- Beginning at 5:30 p.m. residents will be able to sign up in the Club Room if they would like to view the firework display from the roof deck. In order to sign up for the festivities, you must have your pool pass and if you have a guest, they must have a guest pool pass.
- Each person will receive a stamp on their hand that will allow them to come and go onto the roof deck beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- The guard in the Club Room will have a clicker that will be used to keep a head count of each person signing up for access to the roof. Once we approach the Arlington County Fire Code occupancy limit of 175 persons, no additional people may sign up.
- No more than 2 guests per unit allowed. Guests must be accompanied by unit owner or resident and will need to present a guest pool pass to sign-up for access to roof.
- Regular roof deck rules will be in place and will be enforced by the guards on duty. Residents should bring either cans or plastic cups to enjoy beverages of their choice.
Have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July!
